The meeting was attended by representatives of 109 geoparks from 28 countries, including official representatives of the UNESCO World Geopark \u0110erdap. The meeting was attended by members of the Executive Committee of the World Geoparks Network (GGN) on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the adoption of the International Science and Geoparks Program. The hosts and representatives of the coordination board of EGN welcomed the participants, and the president of GGN addressed the participants. In addition to the discussion of regular reports on activities from the past year and plans for further work and development of geoparks, EGN representatives had the opportunity to participate in an interactive workshop on climate change. Representatives of the UNESCO World Geopark \u0110erdap actively participated in the workshop, emphasizing the importance of preserving geological and natural values in the fight against climate change and its impact.
