This event, among other things, served as an opportunity to mark the World Water Day, which emphasized the importance of preserving natural resources and heritage.
\nThe nature monument “Bigrena akumulacija Beli Izvorac” is particularly significant due to its exceptionality and preservation as a geomorphological object of the surface karst relief. In the Beli Izvorac valley, there are two bigra accumulations of different ages, deposited one over the other. This natural asset has a large number of forms, phenomena and processes that were formed by the Beli Izvorac watercourse.
\nValja Prerast, a natural stone bridge, stands out as one of the most impressive natural phenomena in this region. Its distinctive appearance and size are the result of a long-term process of river erosion, which emphasizes the power of nature in shaping the landscape.
\nGeopark \u0110erdap continues to improve cooperation with local communities and organizations, promoting activities that contribute to nature conservation, sustainable development and education about the geological, natural and cultural values of this region.
