Each year on September 27, the world celebrates World Tourism Day with the aim to foster awareness among the global community of tourism and it’s cultural, social, political and economic value. Tourism as an economic sectors has suffered great consequences caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, travel is still limited. The official message of the World Tourism Organization under the slogan #RestartTourism is that we should work on the gradual easing of the COVID-19 restrictive measures that will contribute to the re-development of tourism, an industry that is already suffering historical consequences.

The usual celebration of the World Tourism Day in the Djerdap National Park this year will not be organized due to the situation with the coronavirus, but we invite you to explore the attractions of the Djerdap National Park, which was visited by thousands of domestic tourists this year, in compliance with the prescribed measures. You can do that using modern technologies, through virtual tours that are available on the web site npdjerdap.rs and our profiles on social networks.
