On September 16, A promotion of the Project “Improving the tourist offer of Djerdap National Park and the Municipality of Golubac in the field of active stay in nature and environmental preservation” was held in the Visitor Center of Fortress Golubački grad d.o.o. The project was realized by the Bicycling and Mountaineering Society “Golubac” from Golubac and the Public Enterprise “Djerdap National Park” with a head office in Donji Milanovac. This Project is part of the “Program of support to civil society organizations for the improvement of local community participation in the management of protected areas Tara National Park and Djerdap National Park” within the multi-year project “Protected Areas for Nature and People II” of the WWF organization.
The promotion of the Project was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Mining and Energy of the Republic of Serbia, TOO Golubac, PE “Djerdap Nacionalni park”, Fortress Golubački grad d.o.o. and other. Vlastimir Adamović gave a presentation on the project and field research of a mixed team of mountaineers and experts from the Djerdap National Park and stated the following:
– Five hiking trails have been designed in the National Park on the territory of the Municipality of Golubac.
– They were recorded with GPS devices and archived in digital format.
– Photo documentation of the most attractive parts of the trails and future viewpoints was made.
– Challenges and problems in establishing them for visitors were recognized.
