Organizational structure

The organization of affairs within PE “Djerdap National park” is determined by the ordinance on internal organization and systematization of affairs within PE “Djerdap National park”, No. 4546 of October 30, 2018.

The company is comprised of the following sectors:

  • 1. The Sector for Common Affairs,
  • 2. The Sector for Protection and Sustainable Development,
  • 3. The Sector for Legal, General and Tourism Affairs,
  • 4. The Sector for Forest Management Planning.

The Sector for Common Affairs

The scope of the Sector for Common Affairs is comprised of jobs concerning occupational safety, financial operations, bookkeeping, accounting, sales and procurement, as well as study and analytical activities. The Sector includes:

  • 1. The department of economic and financial affairs,
  • 2. The department of commerce, planning and analysis.

The Sector for Protection and Sustainable Development

The scope of the Sector for Protection and Sustainable Development consists of the protection, preservation and improvement of the National park’s natural values and its representative, biological, geomorphological, geological, hydrographic and scenic features; the protection, preservation and betterment of representative forms of ethnological heritage and other cultural and historical values; the organizing of scientific research and educational activities; the presentation and popularization of the National park’s values; the landscaping and design, construction and maintenance of facilities for the purpose of preserving, restoring and improving the National park’s values and their presentation, remediation and revitalization; the management of building land transferred to the company for management and use; the planning, analysis, protection, cultivation and management of forests; an active role in the creation of rules for internal order and conditions for implementing protection regimes for the company’s natural and cultural assets; safety at work; activities related to the Djerdap geopark project. The sector includes:

  • 1. The department of protection, advancement, promotion and sustainable development,
  • 2. The department of protection and improvement of hunting and fishing,
  • 3. The National park guard department.

The Sector for legal, general and tourism affairs

The scope of the Sector for Legal, General and Tourism Affairs is comprised of legal, general, administrative, normative affairs and all affairs related to information, presentation and tourism within the National park protected area, as well as activities related to the Djerdap geopark project. The Sector includes:

  • 1. The department of legal and general affairs,
  • 2. The department of Information, presentation, tourism and the geopark.

The Sector for Forest Management Planning

The scope of the Sector for Forest Management Planning consists of sustainable forest management activities; long-term planning; work on the care, protection and restoration of existing forests; biodiversity conservation; maintaining the fertility of forest land; operational elaboration of the work program; monitoring the regularity and timeliness of executed tasks, proper record keeping, preparation of reports on the execution of the department’s jobs and tasks; direct execution of the most complex tasks related to the sector’s scope; participation in the development of programs and plans for the management of the National park; the development of annual forest management plans and other plans and programs. The Sector includes:

  • 1. The Donji Milanovac work unit,
  • 2. The Tekija work unit,
  • 3. The Dobra work unit.
