The 54th International Tourism Fair was held in Novi Sad from November 30 to December 2. The Fair gathered over 240 exhibitors from the country and abroad who presented their tourist offer.
The municipalities of „Lower Danube“, the Manager of the Tourist Area “Lepenski Vir” DOO and the Public Enterprise “Djerdap National Park” had a joint presentation of their tourism offer, as part of the European Union project “EU for Tourism and Cultural Heritage” implemented by the German cooperation organization GIZ. Visitors were presented with the offer intended for visitors, as well as the activities of PE “Djerdap National Park” together with numerous natural, cultural, historical and geological sights of this area. The exhibition space „Lower Danube“ of is mostly visited by domestic visitors who are interested in active vacations and enjoying nature. The interest was also shown by the final grade students and students who were gathering information for their final theses. On the third day of the Fair, a prize game was organized at the exhibitors „Lower Danube“ where visitors had the opportunity to spin the wheel of fortune and win valuable prizes, in the form of vouchers for a tour of the cultural and historical landmarks of the area, thematic monographs and the Lexicon of the “Djerdap” National Park, promotional magnets and other promotional material. On the occasion of marking its century of existence, the Novi Sad Fair offered free entry to all visitors.
