Schedule of hiking tours in Djerdap National Park during the Easter and Labor holidays

 

Spending time in nature is very important for our overall well-being. It leads to improvements in health and mood, and also energizes people. Therefore, spend the upcoming festive days in nature, discovering the values in Djerdap National Park.

Depending on your needs and abilities, Djerdap offers many opportunities for hiking and exploring the nature. Hiking trails, marked with information boards and signposts, are different in length and rise. In accordance with the Law on Nature Protection, and the Ordinance on Internal Order and Guard Service, the tours organized in zones which are in the first degree protection regime have to be accompanied by a ranger of Public enterprise „Djerdap National Park“. All trails, except the Golden Lake trail, pass or rely on zones which are in the first degree protection regime.

On Friday, April 26th, there will be organized a guided hiking tour to the viewpoint Kovilovo. The meeting point will be in front of Tourist info center in Donji Milanovac at 10 a.m. The tour will be accompanied by a ranger of Public enterprise „Djerdap National Park“. Hiking tour takes 2 hours, a total of 3 km. Please notice that it is necessary to have a transportation to the beginning of the hiking trail. The entrance fee is 250,00 dinars per person.

On Saturday, April 27th, there will be organized a guided hiking tour to the viewpoint Ploce and Veliki Strbac peak. The meeting point will be in front of Tourist info center in Donji Milanovac at 10 a.m. The tour will be accompanied by a ranger of Public enterprise „Djerdap National Park“. Hiking tour takes 6 hours, a total of 15 km. Please notice that it is necessary to have a transportation to the beginning of the hiking trail. The entrance fee is 250,00 dinars per person.

On Sunday, April 28th, on Easter, we suggest to use a marked hiking trail Zlatno jezero which starts close to the Hotel Lepenski vir in Donji Milanovac. This trail does not pass through zone with first level of nature protection, so it isn’t necessary to be accompanied by a ranger. It is 4 km long.

On Monday, April 29th, there will be organized a guided hiking tour to the viewpoint Greben. The meeting point will be in front of Tourist info center in Donji Milanovac at 10 a.m. The tour will be accompanied by a ranger of Public enterprise „Djerdap National Park“. Hiking tour takes 3 hours, a total of 5 km. Please notice that it is necessary to have a transportation to the beginning of the hiking trail. The entrance fee is 250,00 dinars per person.

On Tuesday, April 30th, there will be organized a guided hiking tour to the cave Gradasnica. The meeting point will be in front of Tourist info center in Donji Milanovac at 10 a.m. The tour will be accompanied by a ranger of Public enterprise „Djerdap National Park“. Hiking tour takes 3 hours, a total of 3,5 km. Please notice that it is necessary to have a transportation to the beginning of the hiking trail. The entrance fee is 250,00 dinars per person.

On Wednesday, May 1st, there will be organized a guided hiking tour to the viewpoint Ploce. The meeting point will be the beginning of the trail at 10 a.m (on the parking lot by the main road, 23 km from Donji Milanovac toward Kladovo). The tour will be accompanied by a ranger of Public enterprise „Djerdap National Park“. Hiking tour takes 3 hours, a total of 7 km. The entrance fee is 250,00 dinars per person.

On Thursday, May 2nd , there will be organized a guided hiking tour to the viewpoint Ploce and Mali Strbac peak. The meeting point will be in front of Tourist info center in Donji Milanovac at 10 a.m. The tour will be accompanied by a ranger of Public enterprise „Djerdap National Park“. Hiking tour takes 6 hours, a total of 15 km. Please notice that it is necessary to have a transportation to the beginning of the hiking trail. The entrance fee is 250,00 dinars per person.

The meeting point will be in front of Tourist info center in Donji Milanovac at 10 a.m. The tour will be accompanied by a ranger of Public enterprise „Djerdap National Park“. Hiking tour takes an hour, a total of 2 km. Please notice that it is necessary to have a transportation to the beginning of the hiking trail. The entrance fee is 250,00 dinars per person.

On Saturday, May 4th, there will be organized a guided hiking tour to the viewpoint Kovilovo.
